Happy New Year!!!

Well it is New Year's Eve and we have just returned from the market.  It was surprisingly quiet this morning.  Our chef is preparing the sauce for the halibut filet and I have just put some squid and shrimp in a mixture in preparation for a delicious deep fry.  The coming year 2010 is the year of the tiger in the eastern cultures and it represents change.  I certainly have experienced lots of change over the last few months.  Tonight is a rare blue full moon...a wonderful gift prior to my departure.  Speaking of departures...still have to pack and pick up a few things that I need.  I found a great ex-pat site that is chock full of information for newcomers.  Only 6 days to go.  Wishing you all a very Happy New Year and may this coming year be filled with magical moments.
