The time seems to be flying now. I now have 6 weeks left and only five weeks of school left. I have to say that this has been an incredible journey. One that I will not forget. The weather is fluctuating...and the most interesting thing happens...when it gets warm after the rain...guess who comes buzzing around...mosquitos...actually fought with one in the wee hours of this morning. I am attaching pics of my latest work.....I am totally in love with sculpture. Create a wonderful day...ciao mi amici!

This sculpture has taught me a great deal
patience above all :):)
this sculpture of the hand was a
spontaneous thing...I was struggling for
two hours with the graphite drawings...don't ask me why
and then my teacher says 'let's go sculpt my hand'
and I did...in an hour.....amazing results...didn't think much just sculpted.
Still needs to be smoothed out and line defined but
I get the sense that this might be the medium for me.
Capturing the moment...the reflections on the river were incredible. Will paint this one when I return.
