Buon giorno mi amici.
I find it so amazing how busy life can be even though school is done for the summer. Yesterday my friend and I went to San Giminiano. It is a small medieval town filled with great restaurants, art galleries, small shops, and most of all wondrous views of the Tuscan hillside. As I am currently reorganizing my photos on iphoto..I will need to attach some pics on another post.
My access to internet is somewhat limited at the moment as I returned the modem I was renting. I plan on being away for stretches of time and will be home for a month in August. So I have a couple of weeks to catch up on my stories prior to my family visiting. I booked a trip to the Amalfi coast for July and will have some breathtaking photographs. After using my friends camera yesterday I realized how much I missed the motor drive sound in my old Nikon which is need of serious repair. I don't remember though what it is like to go and put film into Costco anymore...it seems like everything has gone digital.
Might be wise to put the investment into a new camera and sell the old one.
Off to sculpture class today. I found new passion with sculpture. Here are some sculptures that I saw during an open house at the Florence Academy. I am in awe at what some people have managed to create. I can see my future garden filled with wonderful little statues. Hope you all have a most wonderful day. Ciao!
