February 4th..time to visit the Laundromat

First off I just wanted to let you all know that whenever I sit to tell a story...there is this huge smile that comes across my face.  I have discovered the humour in most everyday situations and it is such a refreshing approach to life.  I read a book once that addressed the "truth" in comedy and most comedians use real life situations to illicit laughter.  I am afraid the laundromat isn't as funny but I thought I would share some observations with you.  I discovered the reason why I was the only one in there......it is so expensive.  For one large load...one small load and drying time...it was 21 Euros.  Almost 30 bucks Canadian.  I have a little washing machine but to it is hard to dry sheets and towels on my tiny rack.  It has been raining so hanging the wash outside to dry has been impossible.  But I hear the weather is warming and the sun is coming back!   What I observed about the dryers is that they stop for 60 seconds after several tumbles....so that is why my towels didn't dry thoroughly.  This weekend is the famous Chocolate Festival.  I went today and was in awe ... stay tuned...see you soon!  Caio mi amici.
