Buon giorno mi amici
On my way home from school at lunch I observed an asian couple on the bridge...bride and groom. It was freezing and she was sleeveless....she was so happy I don't think she noticed the cold. Poor mom was standing there with a white fur throw wanting to throw it on her. How beautiful to have a wedding in Florence. Spring must be coming...romance is in the air. I bought a couple more prints to hang in my living room. Waterhouse's "My Sweet Rose" and Gerome's "Pymalian and Galatea". I love the latter because it reminds me of dreams come true. For those who might not know this painting..it is the one where the sculputure kisses his sculpture and she comes alive. I'll try to find an image or website for those of you interested. Well long day in the studio. The afternoon model was long and slender but muscles out he whazoooo. Great study for the next step. My getting up at 4 put me in a deep nap at noon. Thank goodness I can come home for lunch. :)
