Florence is a wonderful city to explore the numerous educational opportunities both through public and private schools. Most relate to the arts and language and there are many small studios providing private lessons. I discovered the Russian Academy the other day through a friend and signed up for anatomy classes. The method of teaching incorporates the mathematical aspect of how the body is viewed. We have started studying the skull and with points/lines and curves it is very interesting how through geometry the skull is revealed. Davinci used geometry with the determining proportions and I think I understand it now. It will also help me with my sculpting I have no doubt.
I was coming home from the grocery store early this afternoon and noticed on the main street..the one that has four lane traffic that they have a monitor situated on the main corner that tells you how many parking spots there are in various parking locations. Not surprising given the number of vehicles and the limited space. Just hanging out waiting for Air France to come on the line. I went to find the office in Florence and discovered that Florence hasn't had an Air France office in that location for 5 years. Wonders never cease here. Hope you all are having a wonderful day.
