Rain, rain and more rain.....says the weatherman.

Well the rain did not stop the festivities at our annual school art show at the Bardini Museum.  The setting was incredible as the terrace overlooked all of Florence.  The show was well attended and because of the rain the small areas that were covered were packed with people.   There was a display of the traditional flag throwing where bright colours and the view of the backdrop was spectacular.    I was in awe when viewing the paintings in the large room.  It felt surreal to be amongst these incredible artists.  Today I have been slotted to take the first shift as an attendant of the show...well actually I will be there most of the day covering for a colleague.  With many people there last evening it was difficult to see some of the paintings so I am looking forward to viewing them again today.   Thank you to all of you for your support and well wishes.  Have a most wonderful day.  Ciao!
