Buona sera mi amici.
If you have ever tried to mail something from Italy it can be a very interesting experience. So I decided to go to Mailboxes etc. with my parcel today as they have UPS and it would be quick. I had a little surprise for my sorella and thought it would be nice to send it today. I was happy to know there was a franchise not too far from where I live. So after school I grabbed my parcel and off I went. There was no one in the store....now I know why. When the clerk weighed my package and keyed some things into the computer she looked up at me and in a very sweet voice said that would be 60 euros. Another moment where I threw my head back and laughed. Sixty euros...was she kidding....nope she was not. I thought be myself ...boy for 60 euros I could buy a lot of wine or one very good bottle of wine. So off I went to the post office thinking it would be significantly better....nope....40 euros to ship my package to Canada. Well guess who is not getting a package next week. :):):) Buona serrata ... off to study some more Italian.
