Saturdays in the market.....

Buon giorno mi amici


It always fascinates me to watch people scurrying about at the market.  I particularly enjoy the elderly...they are so refined and gentle.  I often wonder what they will cook for dinner.  Today was the first sighting of new strawberries...very small and much sweeter than the usual at the market.  It did not take long to devour an entire basket with vanilla yogurt.  I am in awe of the taste and creaminess of the yogurt here.  When I purchased it I didn't look to see how many grams of fat.  The minute the spoon touched my lips I thought 'oh no...straight to the hips'.  Surprisingly it only had 3.7 grams of fat...I could swear I was eating 37 grams of pure exquisite fat that tasted like vanilla.


I know some of you ladies out there are wondering if I have found my dream man yet.  Okay today I must say I think I am in love with one of the farmers.  If you would like more details please feel free to email me.  Just looking at him has inspired me to learn Italian as I do not think he speaks English.  I am too timid to ask....imagine me being timid!!!  


Rosetta Stone finally came through and granted me an extension on my program as my activation ID had been rejected.  So I have no excuses.  I will practice by adding some Italian to my blog.  Are you aware that I have over 100 posts on this blog?  I think it is time to celebrate.


I am off to a portrait class now...we decided as a group to have our own because some of us are still working on our 3rd drawing and you must complete all 4 before going to the evening portrait classes.  But first I am off to see Pasquali and his brother to check my lotto ticket.  The last jackpot was 60,000,000 Euro...wow.  Wish me luck.  Create a wonderful weekend!  Ciao
