I was so excited yesterday as today we were off to the Amalfi coast. I woke the kids up at 5am so that we had ample time to get to the bus station by 6:30. We were to meet outside the farmacia at the train station. Six thirty came and went and no guide or any other people around. Luckily we had a blackberry so Tim checked the website. He read the itinerary for Almalfi for July 15th….departing at 6:00 pm. I wondered why I had read dinner on the paperwork I got as we would be stopping for dinner along the way and thought it odd they called lunch…dinner. As three of us laughed, Brittany pipes up saying, “ am I the only one who doesn’t find this hilarious?” Back to the apartment. Two of the kids had naps and Melissa and I got caught up on some stories from the past. We all decided this would be a bonus day as we have been go go go since their arrival. A great shopping day…off the San Lorenzo Market. Will see you again on Monday. Caio mi amici.
