Italy is known for its art and food. We have discovered some amazing places that prepare food with a finess that surpasses the traditional trattoria cuisine. One of my favourite place is a take out trattoria that has home cooked food...although the veggies are a bit overdone..the flavour is exquisite...and sometimes the chefs get a little happy with the sharing of salt. We figured that those chefs who smoke are limited with their tasting abilities as the taste buds must be affected somehow.
I have compiled a selection of food plates that we have sampled. For those of you planning to visit Italy...please do let me know as I have some outstanding recommendations including my own kitchen of course. Ciao!
