Buon Giorno mi amici....

Well I can say it is so wonderful having a chef visit because the food is incredible.  So as a special gift I will share with you the recipes we have created this week.  I will enclose some photos for you in the meantime.  On Monday we went to Lucca and I have pics although the jpg are huge so it might take some time for the download.  Lucca is a very small quaint town.  Tourist are beginning to surface there so although it was not very busy...one could assume that the little restaurants and shops will soon be packed.  We took the train which was about an hour and a half.  Easter is fast approaching so the shops are buzzing with chocolate and pasqua bread....must get both!  I know I have to record more funny stories for you but this morning we are back to the central market.  Found an amazing wine store and the owner has now adopted us as regular customers and the other day we had received preferential treatment much to the dismay of an American filling out a form at the counter.  I love it.  Stay tuned more to come...today is a day of museums and markets.
