I missed the Carravagio show in Rome this weekend. I will have to follow the paper to see where other shows pop up. I have finished my first life drawing....well still need to do some work on the body but I am attaching a pic of the model's face. Also while on the train on Saturday a young woman gave me this paper...I was so intrigued that I wanted to share it with you. She was soliciting money for her child and it appears that she was sponsored by various businesses. She never did return for money unless she was the lady who appeared and was begging someone for something...I thought she wanted that persons seat.
Sorry amici...but the file appears to be too big to download so I will have to send it to my facebook...it is all in Italian so if anyone is interested I can translate. I had widened my scope in my camera for photos in the Vatican as I have found several statues I would love to draw. I will try when I have more time to download some of those. In the meantime here is a pic of my latest graphite drawing....it is far from complete but it will give you some idea of what I have been up to lately. Hope you are all well and enjoying the beautiful weather..it was 14 C yesterday and sunny. Ciao.
