Buon giorno
Today has been a rather interesting day. Just as we were settling into class the lights went out. It appears that there has been an influx of construction in the city. This might be an indication that the economy has not suffered too much over on this side of the world. It is fascinating how they construct scaffolding...and how they gut places with wheelbarrows and hard labour interesting as well. I decided not to wait for the lights to come back on so I made my way to the supermarket to buy things for a pasta salad as that is my contribution to tomorrow's potluck lunch. Looks like my Bargue will be on hold till next semester. No problem...I am going to work my life drawing to a fine finish. I am loving the exploration of graphite on paper and have attained some wonderful results. Last evening one of my colleagues showed me a faster way of laying graphite using a couple of techniques which were already familiar to me but he was very helpful. Just a quick stop to drop the groceries and pick up my camera in hopes to find subjects that might be of interest to post. Create a wonderful day. The sun is shining and it is 13C but if feels like 20C...it is early yet so another day in paradise. Ciao mi amici!
