FLORENCE IS AMAZING

Buona sera
Well I am in heaven today.  I found an internet outlet that has MAC computers.  The screen is awesome.
When you focus on Apple...amazing things appear.  Anyhow I was able to transfer my files that I created over the last couple of days to fill you in on my arrival and submersion into this new culture.  New for me that is.  Please feel free to comment on my blogs and if you have any suggestions or have been or lived in Italy your help would be much appreciated.  I am contemplating setting up with one particular company with the internet.  No wires...just plug into the wall and go.  Well they have to set up of course so that will be a chunk of change.

I made it to the Ponte Vecchio today.  It has been windy and rainy for the last couple of days and amidst a sea of umbrellas and water puddles life surges on.  Luckily I only stepped in one puddle.
One more day before school starts.  Florence shuts down on Sundays so I am thrilled I found this place to update my news.   I am loving every minute of this and cannot wait for school to start on Monday.
So I will not seek out internet tomorrow.  I have a phone and what I discovered is that the Italians have this all figured out.  If you give international phone cards to your loved ones in Canada then they can call you and there is no cost on your mobile cell phone.  It is much less expensive, otherwise you pay 50cent per minute.  So if you would like my number please send me an email.  Given that this is a public space I am utilizing I best not publish it.  Goodness knows who might call.
