Wow ... midweek and so much accomplished!

Buona sera mi amici.
Well this morning I typed an Italian email to the police department.  It might take a zillion years for a response :).  Today at lunch I decided not to come home and went walking....and came across another art store...right up the street.  Now that could be dangerous.  I bought a canvas and some acrylic paints...for now until the weather gets better and I can vent my apartment using oils and mineral spirits.  Maestro came in today and assured us that our upcoming student show in May will not be held at the Uffizzi.  I laughed out loud.

Last night the winds were howling...there must have been a loose shutter...none of mine because I checked...and it banged against the wall from 1:30am on.  It could have been worse...the Flamingo dancer upstairs might have practiced the same time..just kidding...there is someone who loves to click around in her heels right above my bed.   Needless to say today I am exhausted as I went to bed rather late last evening...I decided to clean the rest of my apartment.  Now it is squeeky clean and I feel more settled.  I attended a late afternoon life drawing class that is also open to the public.  I lasted till 7 and then had to go home.  After this post it is lights out for this bella.  But before I go I wanted to share an excerpt from a local paper I like to read...because it is in English...'The Florentine'.  Often I look for signs or confirmation that I am on the right path and when I read this article it hit home for me.
