Buon giorno
Yup you guessed it...lunchtime and I am at home with my daily blog. I so much enjoy sharing this with you and it gives me some down time from school. Left over risotto..you guessed it. Today it took me 22 minutes to make it to school. I am shooting for 15 and then giving myself a gold medal. I noticed if the traffic is bad then it takes longer...hey who wants to stop for a student.
Well today I am off to the post office after school to get what is called l'assicuranzione Sanitaria Nazionale...who would have ever guessed that this means health insurance. Apparently to get my residency papers I need to have this purchased. Now I am getting conflicting opinions regarding the fee...some say 80euros others say 120euros. If they accept my photocopy of my passport I will let you know tomorrow. I don't feel like carrying it my backpack so a copy will have to do. Then I have to find a local tobaccoateria...I made that up...that apparently I need to buy a marco di polio...no it's not a cigar. It a stamp I need before I can go back to the post office with my completed application. And that costs 15euros. So my focus is to breeze through this. Just go with the flow baby...I keep telling myself.
Today on the way to school the sun came out so I yanked out my camera and took a picture of a view I see everyday as I cross to bridge to the morning studio. After class on my way back over the bridge I saw an artist all set up with his easle, canvas and paints. A little chilly to be painting but I think he found the right piece of sunshine to stay warm. And yes I took a picture of him.
I want to thank all of you who have posted comments on my blog. Thank you. I enjoy reading them as it gives me an idea of what I need to do. So yes to you all who requested pictures. Hopefully tomorrow will be a sunny day and I am off to the market. So exciting. Also if you have tried to post a comment and did not want to sign onto google...just click anonymous and leave your initials if you do not wish to be identified. Thanks for watching. Till we meet again arrivederci.
